💉 Product Description & Composition
Generic Name: Gentamicin Injection 10%
Composition:
Each ml contains:
Gentamicin sulfate: 100 mg
Solvents ad: 1 ml
Indication: Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by various Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella, Salmonella, etc.) and Staphylococcus aureus.
📏 Dosage and Administration
- Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 2 mg per kg of body weight. Administered IM or IV once daily.
- Swine: 5 mg per kg of body weight. Administered IM once daily.
- Horses: 6.6 mg per kg of body weight. Administered IV every 24 hours.
- Dogs and Cats: 4-6 mg per kg of body weight. Administered IM or SC every 24 hours.
- Poultry: 5-10 mg per kg of body weight. Administered IM or via drinking water.
⚠️ Precautions & Withdrawal Periods
Withdrawal Period:
- Meat (Cattle, sheep, swine): 40 days
- Poultry: 7 days
Storage & Shelf Life: Keep in a dark place at 20~25 ºC. Shelf life is 2 years.
