Pharmacological action: Metamizole (dipyrone) is a painkiller, spasm reliever, and fever reliever that also has anti-inflammatory effects. It is most commonly given by mouth or by injection. This product has significant antipyretic effect, strong analgesic effect, and certain anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects. There was no significant effect on gastrointestinal motility.
Action and use: Antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs. It is used for myalgia, rheumatism, febrile disease and hernia pain.
Dosage and administration: Intramuscular injection: a single dose, 10 ~ 33.3 ml for horses and cattle; 3.3 ~ 6.7 ml for sheep; 3.3 ~ 10 ml for pigs; 1 ~ 2 ml for dogs.
