Product Description

Composition: 100mg Marbofloxacin per 1ml; Excipients ad 1ml.

Mechanism: Inhibits bacterial enzymes leading to rapid bacterial death.

Marbofloxacin is a synthetic, broad-spectrum antibiotic under a class of fluoroquinolone drug. It is used to treat a range of serious bacterial infections in livestock.

Indications & Usage

Cattle: Respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica and Histophilus somni. Also effective for acute mastitis caused by E. coli during lactation.

Pigs: Metritis Mastitis Agalactia Syndrome (MMA syndrome) and postpartum dysgalactia syndrome (PDS) caused by susceptible strains.

Administration & Storage

Dosage: 2mg/kg/day (1ml/50kg) given intramuscularly.

Contra-indications: Not for use in animals with hypersensitivity to quinolones or cases with cross-resistance.

Storage: Store below 25ºC, keep in a cool, dry place and protect from light.
